About Port Checking
Port Status Types
- Open: Port is accepting connections
- Closed: Port is reachable but not accepting connections
- Filtered: Firewall is blocking the port
- Timeout: No response within the timeout period
Notes
- Only TCP ports can be checked (not UDP)
- Maximum 10 ports per request
- Private/localhost addresses are blocked
- Timeout is set to 5 seconds per port
